These filters are compatible with the APEC Ultimate Complete 5 stage high capacity filter set for RO Reverse Osmosis systems, model ROES-50 and RO-45, similar to the FI-ES-SED10 sediment filter and 2 of the FI-ES-CAB10 carbon block filters. The filters are 100% compatible and come with instructions.

The 100% compatible filters offer an extended service life. The first stage is a multi-layer 5 micron Sediment filter, which has a greater dirt holding capacity and extended service life. It measures 2.5" in diameter and 9.84" in length, fitting a standard 10" filter housing canister. Manufactured with pure Polypropylene and conforming to the ISO 9001:2000 Manufacturing standard, this filter removes sediment, dirt, sand, and rust, and should be replaced every 12 months.

The second and third stages are Activated coconut shell carbon blocks, providing extra capacity. They have a 5 micron rating and a 6,000-gallon chlorine reduction capacity or a 2,000-gallon RO water usage capacity. Measuring 2.75" in diameter and 9.84" in length, these activated carbon block filters are made with 100% high-quality coconut shell carbon. The better bonding and structure design minimizes the channeling effect and extends the service life. These filters reduce sediment, chlorine, chloramines, taste, odor, VOC, and THM, and should be replaced every 12-18 months.
