Changing an RO housing and membrane is a straightforward process. First, turn off the feed water supply and the valve on the water tank. Open the RO faucet to release the system's pressure. Disconnect the tubing from the membrane housing by removing the blue safety clip, pushing down the collar, and pulling out the tubing. Use a wrench to remove the housing cap, then use pliers to extract the used membrane and insert the new one, ensuring the end with the two washers goes in first. Reassemble the housing, reconnect the tubing, and replace the blue safety clip.

Each RO housing kit includes a 1812/2012 RO membrane housing, two elbow fittings for the water inlet and wastewater outlet, a check valve for the pure water outlet, and a wrench. The available models are ROULP-1812-50, ROULP-1812-75, ROULP-2012-100, and ROULP-2012-150, with permeate flow rates of 50 GPD, 75 GPD, 100 GPD, and 150 GPD, respectively.
