APEC ULTIMATE Series Alkaline Reverse Osmosis Water System Replacement Filter Set (FILTER-SET-PH)

The APEC Ultimate high capacity pre-filter set, manufactured in the USA with premium quality filtration components, is designed to provide a longer-lasting filter set to protect and prolong the lifespan of your reverse osmosis system. This pre-filter set, consisting of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th stage filters, is compatible with the APEC RO-PH90 and all other 10" standard size under-counter RO systems.

The 1st stage is a high-grade 5-micron 10" high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter that removes dirt, particles, and rust. The 100% pure polypropylene depth filter has an exceptional dirt-holding capacity, resulting in a longer life and fewer change-outs compared to existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters.

The 2nd and 3rd stage filters are premium extruded carbon block 10" filters that effectively remove unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness, and colors from the water. They also remove VOCs and other common impurities. APEC's extruded carbon block filters consist of activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block with enhanced absorptive capacity and efficiency, ensuring that they do not channel or bypass, unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters.

The 6th stage is a 100% USA-made high-purity 10" inline calcium carbonate filter that effectively neutralizes acidity and raises the pH of the water. This mineral cartridge, known as the FI-PHPLUS-QC, adds only 100% USA-made high-purity calcium carbonate, unlike other re-mineralization filters that may use mineral formulations from unknown sources.

The APEC ULTIMATE Series high capacity pre-filter set is USA-made and built to last twice as long as other brands, with a lifespan of over 12 months for fewer filter change-outs and high-performance impurity removal.
