The APEC Ultimate High Capacity Pre-Filter Set, manufactured in the USA, is crafted with premium quality filtration components to provide a longer-lasting filter set that can protect and extend the lifespan of your reverse osmosis (RO) system. This premium quality filter set is designed to last over 12 months, reducing the frequency of filter change-outs and delivering high-performance impurity removal.

These standard-size, 10-inch filters are compatible with all standard-size under-counter RO systems on the market. The first stage of the filter set is a high-grade, 10-inch, high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter that effectively removes sediment, particles, and rust. The 100% pure polypropylene depth filter offers exceptional dirt-holding capacity, translating to a longer life and fewer change-outs compared to existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters.

The second and third stages of the filter set are premium, extruded carbon block filters, also 10 inches in size. These filters efficiently eliminate unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness, and colors from the water. They also remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other common harmful impurities. APEC's extruded carbon block filters consist of activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block, providing enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, these extruded carbon block cartridges will not channel or bypass due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core.

The APEC Ultimate Series FILTER-SETX2 is compatible with APEC's RO-45, RO-90, RO-PH90, RO-PERM, and RO-PUMP models, as well as all other standard-size, under-counter reverse osmosis water filter systems on the market. The set includes two sediment filters and four carbon block filters to protect and extend the life of the RO system.
