The APEC ULTIMATE high-capacity pre-filter set is manufactured in the USA with high-quality filtration components to provide a longer-lasting filter set, thereby protecting and prolonging the lifespan of your reverse osmosis system. This premium-quality filter set can last over 12 months, resulting in fewer filter change-outs and high-performance impurity removal. These standard-size filters, which are 10 inches in length, are compatible with all standard-size under-counter RO systems.

The first stage of the filtration process is a high-grade, 10-inch, high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter that removes dirt, particles, and rust. This 100% pure polypropylene depth filter has an exceptional dirt-holding capacity, translating to a longer life and fewer change-outs compared to existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters.

The second and third stages consist of premium extruded carbon block 10-inch filters that effectively eliminate unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness, and colors. These filters also remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other common harmful impurities from the water. APEC's extruded carbon block filters are composed of activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block with enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, these extruded carbon block cartridges will not channel or bypass due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core.

The APEC ULTIMATE Series FILTER-SET is compatible with various APEC RO systems, including the RO-45, RO-90, RO-PH90, RO-PERM, and RO-PUMP, as well as all other standard-size under-counter reverse osmosis water filter systems.
