Reverse Osmosis Filter Set for RO-90 3/8 Systems

The FILTER-MAX-90-38 3/8" is a Compatible APEC Ultimate Complete 5-stage high capacity filter set for RO-90 3/8" RO-HI RO Reverse Osmosis systems. It is 100% compatible and comes with instructions and free technical support, provided by Alton Filter.

The first stage is a Commercial-grade, Contractor's Choice Multi-layer 5-micron Sediment filter. This filter has a greater dirt-holding capacity and extended service life. It has a standard size of 2.5" diameter and 9.84" length, fitting standard 10" filter housing canisters. Made with pure Polypropylene and conforming to ISO 9001:2000 manufacturing standards, it removes sediment, dirt, sand, and rust, and should be replaced every 12 months.

The second and third stages are Activated coconut shell carbon block filters. These have a 5-micron rating, 6,000-gallon chlorine reduction capacity, or 2,000-gallon RO water usage capacity. Measuring 2.75" in diameter and 9.84" in length, these activated carbon block filters are made with 100% high-quality coconut shell carbon. They remove sediment, chlorine, chloramines, taste, odor, THM, VOC, pesticides, herbicides, and turbidity, and should be replaced every 12 to 18 months. The improved bonding and structure design helps minimize channeling and extend the service life.

The fourth stage is a TFC-100 RO membrane, similar to the MEM-90 standard size. Designed to fit the same membrane housings, it measures 1.75" in diameter, 2" in diameter with a seal, and 11.74" in length. This high-quality membrane material, supplied by a USA manufacturer, has a 95% rejection rate and an improved structure for greater efficiency and extended service life. It should be replaced every 3 to 5 years to ensure consistent performance.

The fifth and final stage is an Omnipure inline carbon filter, 2"x10" in size, with coconut shell activated carbon for final polishing and improving the taste of the water. With a 2" diameter and 10" length, it has 3/8" quick connect fittings at the inlet and outlet. This filter improves the taste and removes odors, and should be replaced every 12 months.
