The APEC Ultimate high flow 5-stage complete filter set, manufactured in the USA, is designed to provide a longer-lasting filter set that protects and prolongs the lifespan of your Reverse Osmosis (RO) system. The set includes a high-grade 10-inch high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter that removes dirt, particles, and rust. This 100% pure polypropylene depth filter has an exceptional dirt-holding capacity, resulting in a longer life and fewer change-outs compared to existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters.

The second and third stages feature premium extruded carbon block 10-inch filters that effectively eliminate unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness, and colors from the water. These filters also remove Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and other common harmful agents. Apec's extruded carbon block filters consist of activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block, providing enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, these extruded carbon block cartridges will not channel or bypass due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core.

The fourth stage is a high rejection 90 GPD TFC reverse osmosis membrane that removes a wide variety of impurities, including arsenic, chlorine, lead, fluoride, chromium, and radium.

The fifth stage is an advanced coconut shell refining carbon 10-inch TCR filter that removes any possible residual taste from the tank.

This APEC Ultimate high capacity 5-stage complete filter set is designed to last twice as long as other filters on the market. It is compatible with APEC RO-90, RO-PERM, and most industry-standard reverse osmosis systems with 10-inch x 2.5-inch filter housings.
